Mulch

Some of the sample pictures contain a quarter for proportion perspective. The color of the mulch is greatly affected by how moist it is. Many of these pictures are taken of the mulch while it is in our sample bins, which is extremely dry. Please use these pictures only as a basic reference. We highly recommend visiting our store to view either the indoor samples or the bulk piles.

Please be aware that mulch is a natural product and therefore color and consistency vary. All mulches will experience fading with age. Some will fade faster than others depending on the nature of the wood in the mulch and the amount of rain and sunlight it is exposed to.

Double Shredded Hardwood Bark

Contractor grade mulch. Hardwood bark with some larger pieces. Dark brown in color. $30.00 per cubic yard.

Screened Double Shredded Hardwood Bark

Also a double shred, but the screening process removes the larger pieces. Dark brown in color. $33.00 per cubic yard.

Triple Shredded Hardwood Bark

Very finely shredded hardwood bark, consistent size and easy to apply. Dark brown. $36.00 per cubic yard.

Black Bark (Hardwood Bark)

Very similar to the Double Shredded Screened in texture, organically dyed. (The colors of dyed mulches will always change depending on the sunlight and rain that they receive.) $44.00 per cubic yard.

Triple Black (Hardwood Bark)

Very finely shredded hardwood bark, consistent size and easy to apply. Black. This is a dyed product but it is not as black as some of the other dyed mulches. $48.00 per cubic yard.
